After more than a decade of running Jazz Piano School, I hit a wall.
Hundreds of courses, thousands of lessons… and still, something felt off.
Students were overwhelmed. I was, too.
Somewhere along the way, the heart of it — the simplicity, the joy, the clarity — got buried under the weight of too much content.
So I did something drastic.
I stopped, tore it all down, and rebuilt Jazz Piano School from the ground up.
In this episode, I’m sharing that story — why I made the change, what I learned, and how this rebuild led to the creation of something completely new:
The Proficient Jazz Pianist System — a structured path through the three most important jazz piano goals:
Comping
Solo Piano
Improvisation
If you’ve ever felt stuck, uninspired, or unsure where to start in jazz piano… this is for you.
And if you’ve been part of the Jazz Piano School community for a while — thank you.
Your feedback, your practice, and your passion are what shaped this next chapter.
Something special is coming soon for Black Friday — a chance to join early and get lifetime access to everything I’ve been rebuilding.
Stay tuned.
